This week (Dec. 20, 2021), the Pierre Elks Lodge 1953 delivered donated gifts to the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home and the VA Healthcare facility, both in Hot Springs, SD.
Project chairman Judene Holan thanks everyone in the Pierre and Fort Pierre communities for their contributions to the organization’s Holiday Veterans Project. She says through the generosity of donors, the Elks provided over $28,000 worth of items and were able to give the veterans everything they had on their wish lists.
