MURDO – Stanley County controlled the game in the second half Thursday in pulling away from Jones County 48-25 in the first round of the Jones County Invitational at Harold Thune Auditorium.
Lathan Prince scored 14 points for Stanley County (5-1). Cormac Duffy tallied 11.
Cooper Feddersen led Jones County (0-6) with eight points.
Stanley County will play Lyman in a semifinal game on Friday. The Raiders ran past Colome Thursday, 75-42.
