Capital Girls Rally For Tie At Sioux Center

SIOUX CENTER, IA – It wasn’t a loss, but again, it wasn’t a win for the Oahe Capital girls.

Brylee Kafka scored a shorthanded goal 5:46 into the third period Saturday to earn the Capitals a 2-2 tie with the Sioux Center Storm at Vernon Arena.

Kafka set up Ashton Lee’s first period goal that gave the Capitals (3-7-3) a 1-0 lead before the Storm scored twice later in the first period.  In goal, Abagail Stewart-Fromm made 26 saves.

Oahe, winless in their last eight (0-5-3), will again play at Sioux Center on Sunday.
