WHITE RIVER – Though Stanley County played well, White River was even better Thursday.
The Tigers had five players in double figures, led by 23 points from Joe Sayler, as they raced to an 88-57 win over the Buffaloes at Barnhart Gymnasium.
Nic Marshall scored 21, including 19 in the first half for White River (12-2), the second-ranked team in the Class B boys media poll. The Tigers had 15 made three-pointers.
Stran Scott scored 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Buffaloes (11-5), who took their third consecutive loss.
