30 year old state prison inmate dies of natural causes

The South Dakota Department of Corrections says a 30 year old state prison inmate has died of natural causes.

James Normile passed away Saturday (Feb. 12, 2022) in a comfort care setting in the Jameson Annex to the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls.

Normile was serving a sentence for 4th degree rape from Davison County.
