Since 1977, the South Dakota Peace Officers Association Auxiliary has recognized a cheer team for their outstanding leadership during Girls’ and Boys’ State Basketball tournament play. The Stanley County Student Council helped assemble cards with a Spirit of Six pin to be given to the cheer teams during this year’s tournaments.
