For the week ending February 20, 2022, topsoil moisture supplies rated 20% very short, 38% short, 41% adequate, and 1% surplus, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 20% very short, 41% short, 38% adequate, and 1% surplus.

Field Crops Report:

Winter wheat condition rated 5% very poor, 14% poor, 57% fair, 23% good, and 1% excellent.
