25th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is this afternoon in Pierre; Lions also holding annual Irish stew or Irish potato soup feed fundraiser

The 25^th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade is this afternoon (March 17, 2022) in Pierre.

Pierre-Fort Pierre Irish Club member Mark Gageby says parade lineup starts at 4:30 at the Georgia Morse Middle School parking lot.

Paul Marso is this year’s parade Grand Marshal.

Pierre-Fort Pierre Lions Club member Dawn Iverson says they are holding their annual Irish stew and Irish potato soup feed at the American Legion.

Lions Club member Geraldine Ray says people can eat at the Legion or buy containers of soup to-go.

There will also be live Irish music at the Legion after the parade.

Again, anyone is welcome to have an entry in the Pierre St. Patrick’s Day parade, just show up at the middle school parking lot at 4:30pm.
