Jamey Johnson to become an Opry Member

This never gets old. After 17 years of guest appearances, Jamey Johnson was finally invited to JOIN the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday. The surprise invitation came from Opry member Bill Anderson at the close of a writer’s round featuring Bill, Jamey and songwriter Buddy Cannon performing songs they had written together. An induction date for Jamey will be announced soon. . You can watch the invitation on the Opry Instagram.
