Now that Denver Air Connection is the only commercial air carrier serving the Pierre Regional Airport, they’re making an adjustment to flight times starting Monday (April 4, 2022).
City commissioner Jamie Huizenga says the morning flight will be leaving an hour earlier.
Huizenga says DAC was happy to make the adjustment.
On another note, Huizenga says DAC is working on another interline agreement for luggage.
DAC currently provides 12 flights per week between Pierre and the Denver International Airport, with there being two flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The current plan is for those mid-day times– arrival at 1:50pm and departure at 2:25pm CT– to remain the same.
Denver Air is also the sole EAS carrier for the Watertown Regional Airport. The federal Essential Air Service contract for both airports runs through May 31, 2023.
