Pierre’s Go Green and Clean spring cleanup campaign spruces up town for summer

Pierre’s annual Go Green and Clean spring cleanup campaign is underway.

Parks and Recreation Director Bryan Tipton says volunteers make the program happen.

When volunteers are finished with their cleanup project, Tipton says the city will dispose of the trash.

Tipton says he has a list of cleanup opportunities to match volunteers with. People who are interested in participating in this year’s Go Green and Clean effort in Pierre should contact Tipton at 605-773-7407.
