Another National Guard F-16 goes off runway at Joss Foss Field

The South Dakota Air National Guard says another one of their F-16 fighter jets went off the runway at Joe Foss Field in Sioux Falls yesterday afternoon (May 31, 2022).

Medical personnel examined and released the pilot.

The air guard did not give a reason for the mishap. They say they will convene a safety board to investigate the incident.

Last month, a different F-16 also went off the runway. That incident is still under investigation.
