Most people aren’t THAT picky about ice cream . . . unless it’s something divisive like Mac-and-Cheese Ice Cream, Peeps Ice Cream, or Grey Poupon Ice Cream.
In a recent poll, 94% of people said they like ice cream . . . but 6% said they only like ONE kind. Also 2% said they’re “not sure” if they like ice cream. If there were only TWO choices . . . vanilla or chocolate . . . 49% said they’d choose vanilla, 43% would opt for chocolate, and only 5% would pass on both.
If people were forced to pick one favorite, 11% would say vanilla . . . 10% would pick chocolate . . . 9% would want mint chocolate chip . . . and 8% would go with butter pecan. (Grandpa’s favorite flavor.) On the other end of the spectrum, the least popular “favorite” flavors . . . with around 1% of the vote . . . are: Cake batter, peach, raspberry, and butterscotch. (Grandma’s favorite flavor.)
