Someone showed kids between the ages of six and 18 photos of “old technology” to see which ones they could correctly identify. And not even ANTIQUATED stuff like the printing press or The Clapper.
Here are the results: 51% of kids could identify a landline phone. And that was the BEST result.
38% recognized a fax machine . . . 29% identified an original Nintendo NES . . . 28% knew a floppy disk . . . 26% recognized an answering machine . . . and 24% identified a pager.
