A fitness wearable promises to assist you in your quest for a healthier life by providing data on how your body responds to physical activity. A study (Stanford University) found while fitness trackers like Apple Watch, Fitbit and others are great at tracking your heart rate, they’re not great at measuring calories burned. In fact a co-author of the study said, “The magnitude of just how bad they were surprised me.”
