HIGHLIGHTS: There’s a random debate on the internet over which COLOR folder is best for each subject . . . like whether math should be given a red folder or a blue one or a yellow one, and so on. (It’s definitely red though, right?)
FULL STORY: A woman in Pennsylvania went on Twitter and asked what folder COLORS you’d assign to each class, if the subjects were Math, Science, English, and History . . . and the colors were blue, red, yellow, and green.
It became a sensation, with over 10,000 likes and responses.
The most popular responses seemed to be: Math is red . . . Science is green . . . English is blue . . . and History is yellow. But there was no consensus. Here are some amusing responses:
- “Science is green because of plants . . . history is red because of wars . . . English is blue because some stories make you sad . . . math is yellow because that’s what is left.”
- “[I’d] actually do them by period, in [rainbow] spectrum order: 1st period red, 2nd period yellow, 3rd period green, 4th period blue.”
- “Math – yellow, Science – blue, English – green, History – red . . . my answers are ‘Star Trek’ uniform informed.”
- Some guy tried to connect it to “Trivial Pursuit”, but there isn’t a math.
I’m Definitely going Math-Red, because red reminds me of pain and so does math. English is blue, because.. It just is. Science is green because plants. And History is yellow because of the yellow knights helmet in “Trivia Crack“.
