The Mobridge City Council’s regular meeting was held Wednesday, September 14th, at Mobridge City Hall.
Water/Wastewater
Council approved the contract with Moore Engineering for the wastewater headworks project. Total estimated fee on the project is $115, 144.00. The agreement with NECOG for administrative assistance with that project was also approved.
Zoning
A resolution to waive the requirement for a section of sidewalk at 1120 4th Avenue West was approved, but the council denied another resolution for waiving sidewalk at 615 Crescent Drive.
Unfinished Business
The second reading of Ordinance #1006 regarding the depositing of grass and other debris in streets was approved.
New Business
Public hearing was held and approval given for a temporary liquor license for Scarecrow Hollow’s Murder Mystery Reunion event on November 18th and 19th.
Public hearing was held and approval given for Gas ‘N Goodies to obtain a malt beverage license.
The first reading of Ordinance #1007 on the 2023 Budget was approved. Mobridge City Finance Officer Heather Beck gave the council some details on the budget.
The second reading on the 2023 Budget ordinance will be held during a special meeting on September 28th at 5:30pm.
The state agreement for the airport grant of $685,000.00 was approved for the Jet “A” Fueling System at the airport.
Council approved pay request number two on the Northern Plains contract for $25,703.10 on the waste water plant project.
