A man from Marshall, Minnesota, convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance in South Dakota has been ordered to serve time in federal prison.
Jeremy Allan Anspach, age 46, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison, followed by life on supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.

During his involvement in this conspiracy, he assisted in the transportation of multiple pounds of methamphetamine from Arizona, California, and other states, into South Dakota. Anspach sold multiple of ounces of methamphetamine to undercover agents during this investigation.
This case was investigated by the FBI, South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, and the Brown-Lyon-Redwood-Renville Drug Task Force.
Anspach was immediately remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
