HIGHLIGHTS: A guy near Denver got arrested on Friday after he used a hammer to pound a hole through a wall to his neighbor’s unit . . . shoved a gun through and pointed it at him . . . then set his own apartment on fire. Luckily, no one was hurt.
FULL STORY: Have you ever had a crazy neighbor? How about THIS crazy? All last week, a guy near Denver named Shaun Todd was annoyed, because his neighbor kept pounding on a shared wall between their two apartments.
He called the cops on Thursday to complain about it. But when they knocked on the neighbor’s door, he didn’t answer.
The banging got even louder later that night though, and into Friday morning . . . until suddenly, his neighbor BROKE THROUGH the wall with a HAMMER.
That’s not even the craziest part though, because while Shaun was watching, his neighbor then reached through the hole he’d just made and pointed a GUN at him. He shoved the barrel of an AR-15 through the wall and pointed it at Shaun.
The neighbor is 48-year-old James Gambrell Jr. It doesn’t sound like he has beef with Shaun specifically, so it’s not clear why he did it. But he wasn’t done.
While cops were responding, James set his apartment on FIRE, and everyone had to evacuate. Luckily, no one got hurt. He’s facing charges for attempted homicide, felony menacing, and arson.
