Field Crops Report:
Corn condition rated 10% very poor, 21% poor, 31% fair, 34% good, and 4% excellent. Corn mature was 77%, behind 85% last year, but ahead of 69% for the five-year average. Harvested was 15%, near 17% last year, but ahead of 10% average.
Soybean condition rated 8% very poor, 19% poor, 36% fair, 36% good, and 1% excellent. Soybeans dropping leaves was 91%, near 95% last year and 88% average. Harvested was 30%, behind 37% last year, but ahead of 25% average.
Sorghum condition rated 3% very poor, 36% poor, 21% fair, 40% good, and 0% excellent. Sorghum mature was 79%, near 83% last year, but well ahead of 56% average. Harvested was 16%, behind 33% last year, and equal to average.
Sunflowers harvested was 2%, behind 7% last year, and near 3% average.
Winter wheat planted was 69%, behind 74% last year, but near 68% average. Emerged was 26%, near 24% last year and 29% average.
