Mock disaster drill happening this evening at Pierre Regional Airport

There’s going to be a lot of commotion at the Pierre Regional Airport for a few hours this evening (Oct. 13, 2022).

Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Coordinator for the airport Cory Hoffroggee says emergency responders from Pierre, Fort Pierre, Hughes County and Stanley County will be participating in a training drill.

Hoffrogge expects the disaster training at the Pierre airport this evening to take around two hours.
