2. The famous painting of dogs playing poker is actually called “A Friend in Need”. It was painted by a guy named Cash Coolidge, who also created those big cardboard cutouts you stick your head through in tourist spots.
3. Matt Groening is the creator of “The Simpsons”, and has a son named Homer. He goes by “Will,” and had the name BEFORE the cartoon character.
4. It’s pretty common knowledge that the first video MTV ever played was “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles. But no one talks about the SECOND video. It was “You Better Run” by Pat Benatar.
5. The equals sign was invented by a mathematician in Wales in 1557. Before that, people would actually write out “is equal to” in their equations.
