Let’s look at some Feel Good Friday Stories on this Black Friday!
1. Two golf buddies in England got back-to-back holes-in-one. It happened on a 145-yard par three. They’re 69 and 72 years old, and it was the first time either of them have aced a hole.
2. A guy’s TikTok went viral after he filmed his grandmother taking notes while watching Marvel movies . . . so she could talk about them with her 13 grandkids.
3. A guy in Florida was using his metal detector at the beach last month when he found a $40,000 engagement ring. And he ended up giving it back to the woman who lost it. He said, quote, “Karma’s always good. Every time I return an item, I find something better.”
4. Last Wednesday, a 27-year-old guy named Roberto Theiss walked into a police department in South Bend, Indiana looking for a cop named Anne Hayes . . . to thank her for saving his life as a toddler 24 years ago. Back in 1998, she found him walking around in traffic and scooped him up. He ended up in foster care, got adopted, and says it changed his life. So he wanted to bring her flowers, say thanks, and give her a big hug. (Here’s a photo.)
5. A ten-year-old girl in Missouri named “Miracle” called 911 last month when her mom went into labor three weeks early . . . and helped deliver the baby herself. Now she says she might want to be a doctor when she grows up. Her baby sister Jayla is doing great. (Here’s a photo.)
6. Remember the plane that crash-landed on a golf course in Wisconsin last week with over 50 shelter dogs on board? Some of them have already been adopted . . . by the first responders who helped save them.
7. An animal rescue group in Pennsylvania found a microchip in a stray cat, and got it back to its owners seven years after it went missing.
8. Two best friends in Canada hit the lottery for a million bucks this summer. And they’ve already given a bunch of it away. They’re using a sizable chunk to help nonprofits and other organizations in their hometown.
9. A fisherman in the Mediterranean Sea rescued a dolphin this month that was tangled up in rope. And the whole thing is on video.
10. A young moose in Alaska was found trapped in the basement of someone’s home. Firefighters and wildlife rescuers responded to the scene. The realized the moose had fallen through a window in the basement of the Soldotna home. They sedated the moose “Luckily, he was conscious enough to honestly help us out a little bit,” CES firefighter Gunnar Romatz told the Anchorage Daily News. “Luckily, it wasn’t a full-grown moose.” Wildlife biologists treated the moose and administered medication to reverse the sedative’s effects once the animal was outside. Romatz said the moose trotted away from the area after about 10-15 minutes.
