A 26 year old woman from Pierre has been charged with a half-dozen violations after a traffic stop just before midnight last night (Nov. 29, 2022) in Pierre.
Pierre Police Captain Derald Gross says Alva Cloudeagle was stopped in the 400 block of South Robert Street for driving with a headlight out. The officer noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and upon investigation determined Cloudeagle was in possession of marijuana and did not possess a Medical Marijuana card. A used syringe and a baggie containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine were also found.
Cloudeagle was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less than 2oz, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Ingestion of Controlled Substance, Ingestion to Become Intoxicated, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and No Valid Driver License.
