BROOKINGS – Savannah Barber scored twice Sunday as the Brookings Rangers skated past the Oahe Capital girls 4-1 at Larson Ice Arena.
Brylee Kafka scored her third goal of the season for the Capitals (1-5-1) at 4:31 of the second period to cut the Brookings lead to 2-1 after Barber had scored in the first period and then in the first minute of the middle period. Briella Van Dusseldorp and Anna Rasmussen scored later in the second period for the Rangers.
Abagail Stewart-Fromm made 39 saves in net for Oahe, who was outshot 43-12.
