After lighting his face on fire while working on a car in November, Jay Leno found himself back in the hospital following a motorcycle accident.
In an interview last week, he said, quote, “I got knocked off my motorcycle. So I’ve got a broken collarbone. I’ve got two broken ribs. I’ve got two cracked kneecaps. But I’m OK . . . I’m working this weekend.” The accident occurred on January 17th, and it sounds pretty gnarly. Jay was driving a 1940 Indian motorcycle, and he cut through a parking lot.
But someone had strung a wire across the lot without putting any warning flags on it. Jay drove into it and got CLOTHESLINED off the bike.
Jay kept it quiet at first because he didn’t want to get a reputation. He says, quote, “You know, after getting burned up, you get that one for free. After that, you’re Harrison Ford, crashing airplanes. You just want to keep your head down.”
