Your cup of joe could protect your body from inflammation, a University of Copenhagen study suggests. The study surprisingly found adding milk to your morning brew doubles coffee’s protective effects. Coffee beans are filled with antioxidants, and milk is filled with protein. Researchers found the two bind together to increase the inflammation-fighting power of coffee.
Don’t enjoy a morning cup? You may be able to achieve a similar effect by pairing a meat dish with veggies, or by adding some milk or yogurt to your meal. (Study Finds)
