Flags at flying at half-staff at State Capitol today to honor former State Senator Frank Simpson

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has ordered that flags at the State Capitol in Pierre be flown at half-staff today (Feb. 11, 2023) from sunrise until sunset in honor of former State Senator Frank Simpson. He served in the South Dakota State Legislature from 1975-1978.

Funeral services for Simpson will take place at 10am on February 11^th, 2023 at Fountain Springs Church (2100 N Plaza Dr.) in Rapid City.
