CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Parts of New England and New York are digging out of a nor’easter that caused tens of thousands of power outages, numerous school cancellations and whiteout conditions on the roads. The storm began Monday night (March 13, 2023) and lasted throughout Tuesday, dumping as much as 3 feet of snow and gusty winds before moving on. Others got just a few inches or a wintry mix. More high winds and below-normal temperatures are in Wednesday’s forecast before a warm-up later in the week. A power outage tracking site reported 220,000 customers in the region were without power Wednesday morning.
