You know the scene in “Back to the Future” when Michael J. Fox plays Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode”? Well, Chris Martin from Coldplay told Michael it inspired his guitar playing.
In an interview with “Entertainment Weekly”, Michael said, quote, “What a great compliment that is,” about influencing Chris.
He also said when he filmed the scene, he was finger-syncing to the track because he had previously recorded it . . . and that it wasn’t that hard because he already knew the fundamentals of guitar playing.
Michael has a documentary coming out called “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie”. It hits Apple TV+ on May 12th.
