Fort Pierre water tank lid, one waste water lift station in need of repair

The City of Fort Pierre needs to replace the top of its large water storage tank and one of its waste water lift stations.

Public Works Director Rick Hahn says storms and wind over the past several months did some damage to the water storage tank.

Hahn says the body of the water storage tank wasn’t damaged.

Hahn says one of the waste water lift stations is also in need of immediate repair.

Hahn says the sooner the work is done, the better.
