Former Pierre assistant track and field coach Bob Judson is among the first group of assistants to be named to the South Dakota Cross Country and Track and Field Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Judson had two different stints in Pierre during a five-decade coaching career. He helped lead the Governors to three straight AA track and field state championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Judson coached 15 state champion hurdlers and two state champion high jumpers.
Judson is also a member of the T.F. Riggs High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He will be among those inducted to the SDCCTFCA Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 27 following the conclusion of the SDHSAA State Track & Field Championships at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls.
