WAPA repair work causes brief power outage in part of Pierre

Regular maintenance work being done on some breakers caused the power to go out in a portion of Pierre around mid-morning today (April 18, 2023).

A Western Area Power Administration spokesman says the work caused a couple of breakers to trip, shutting off power for about five minutes to an area that included part of West Pleasant Drive and South Pierre Street.
