A 40 year old man from Watertown has been arrested after a stabbing Tuesday night (May 9, 2023).
Watertown Police were called out to a group of people fighting in the streets near the uptown area. The report said one of the people had a knife and people had stab wounds.
Police arrested Matthew Wagemann, who was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Intentional Damage to Property for breaking a glass door at a nearby business. The bond was set at $10,000.
Two individuals had minor injuries.
Aggravated Assault is a Class 3 felony punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment, a fine of up to $30-thousand dollars or both may be imposed.
