FULL STORY: If you’re going to rob a place, a Subway restaurant isn’t the best choice . . . and not just because they’re run by STARVING SANDWICH ARTISTS.
A 20-year-old man in Chicago robbed two Subway restaurants last Wednesday. (See! You didn’t get enough just robbing one.)
The first one apparently went smoothly . . . but at the second one, he almost botched it. He demanded, quote, “all the bread” . . . and the cashier asked him to clarify what kind of “bread” he wanted. The thief made a gesture like he had a gun, and the cashier gave him the cash from the register.
The police caught him and arrested him about 35 minutes later.
Turns out, the guy was out on bail after allegedly robbing a wireless store two weeks earlier. His public defender said he had three job interviews lined up for various fast-food restaurants.
