WATERTOWN – The Watertown Arrows had shown already this season that they have improved in volleyball. On Thursday, the Pierre Governors found out about that first-hand.
Watertown swept Pierre 25-22, 25-19, 25-20 at the Civic Arena.
Emery Thury had 17 kills, an ace and a block to lead Watertown (10-3).
Reese Terwilliger and Campbell Boddicker had eight kills and an ace each for Pierre (8-3).
Watertown had 44 kills to Pierre’s 25 and 10 aces to the Governors’ six.
