The Pierre TF Riggs ProStart team won the 2023 state championship and now they want to share their skills with the public over the next four months.
Southeast Pierre Community Center Executive Director Callie Iversen says they’re hosting a series of healthy eating cooking classes, at no charge to the public.
ProStart team member Ayden Syll says the school offers three culinary classes– first an introduction, then getting more advanced through the second and third classes.
Space is limited to 20 participants. To register, call the Center at 605-224-7244 and leave a message or email greg.southeastcommunitycenter@gmail.com.
Iversen says the healthy cooking classes are the first of a variety of programs they will be offering at the Southeast Pierre Community Center.
