High School students may apply to South Dakota’s public universities and technical colleges free of charge through the end of next month (Nov. 30, 2023).
South Dakota Board of Regents Executive Director Nathan Lukkes says the free application period is the perfect opportunity for students to check out all that public higher education institutions in South Dakota have to offer.
Secretary of Education Joseph Graves says they want high school seniors to know they have a range of opportunities for careers and post-secondary education. He says the free application period is one way to get students exploring options in their home state.
October is National Higher Education Month.
