If you have too much to drink and get sick in the bathroom of a place, you’re going to have to deal with embarrassment . . . a hang-over . . . and potentially, a CLEANING FEE.
Reports out of San Francisco say MULTIPLE restaurants have posted signs warning of “cleaning fees” if you get sick inside and make a mess.
They are targeting drunks . . . specifically day-drinkers who take advantage of booze specials like bottomless mimosas. Some of those people are drinking too much, too fast . . . and their bodies can’t handle it.
It’s become a bigger issue post-pandemic, and the most common offenders are young poeple in their early- to mid-20s. A lot of restaurants have issues staffing, and NO ONE is interested in cleaning up vomit.
Two of the signs say the cleaning fee is $50 . . . and one says they will automatically add it to your tab if you throw up in any public areas.
