There are many reasons that you might hide a magazine under your bed. And one of them MIGHT be that you have a secret: You love opening up the pages and SMELLING the magazine. (???)
People on social media are talking about “disgusting smells” that they actually ENJOY. And here are some good ones:
1. The smell of a mechanics shop, or an auto parts store.
2. The smell when you first turn on the heat in the winter, which is probably just burning dust.
3. Farm animals.
4. Old libraries.
5. A just-blown-out match.
6. Gasoline.
7. Your own underarms, or body odor. Or your partner’s.
8. Fish food flakes.
9. Nail polish, or nail polish remover.
10. Chlorine in a swimming pool.
11. A freshly lit firecracker on the Fourth of July.
12. Tennis balls.
13. The notorious durian fruit.
14. Permanent markers.
15. The hallways of hotels.
16. Pungent cheeses.
17. Someone said, “I love the smell of the fresh plastic in the morning . . . like cheap inflatable pool toys.”
18. Someone said, “My dog’s food smells good, but tastes bad.” (???)
19. Someone said, “Probably that smell from stretched ears or a nose piercing when you turn your hoop around.”
20. Someone said, “My dog . . . who smells like he works double overtime at the Frito factory.” (Someone else said the Frito smell means the dog might have yeast on its paws, and the owner should wash them.)
