Tomorrow (Dec. 15, 2023) is the final day to drop your donations off in the collection boxes around town for the Pierre Elks Lodge Holiday Veterans holiday gift project.
Judene Holan with the Elks says the gifts are delivered to two locations.
Elks member Denny Meng says each collection box has a list of recommended items to get for the veterans.
Holan they’ll pick up the donations tomorrow afternoon.
Cash donations are also accepted. Those dollars are used to purchase special items that are requested to enhance the lives of veterans. Donations can be sent to:
