South Dakota State Capitol getting L-E-D lighting added to roof

As part of some repairs and updates planned for the South Dakota State Capitol Building next year (2024), new lighting will be added on the roof.

Kristine Day with the Office of the State Engineer said the lights will be L-E-D.

Most of the roof of the Capitol will be getting replaced next year, with the exception of the copper dome.
