Many people are seeing their first significant snowfall in a long time . . . so you might have forgotten how to deal with it. (Or maybe you’re just REPRESSING those memories of HOURS of shoveling.)
Well, first things first: You can’t BURN SNOW AWAY. Police in the city of Bellevue, Nebraska actually had to make that announcement.
A local officer posted this online: “If you live in Olde Towne Bellevue, and are currently pouring gas onto the snow and trying to light it on fire as a form of snow removal, you cannot do that. Our officers are on the way to talk to you now.”
There aren’t any further details, but it doesn’t sound like anyone was hurt. They also didn’t say if the person would get in trouble for doing it.

(Setting snow on fire probably doesn’t work anyway . . . although a few years ago, someone posted a video of themselves using a flamethrower to clear their driveway, dressed as Eddie from “Christmas Vacation”.)
