BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State University Assistant Athletics Director for Athletics Communications Jason Hove has been recognized by the College Sports Communicators as one of 18 recipients for its 25-year awards.
Hove has been involved in nearly every significant milestone SDSU Athletics has achieved during the 21st century. He joined the Jackrabbits’ Athletics Department as a full-time employee in the summer of 1998. Since then, Hove has been at the forefront of SDSU’s move from Division II athletics to Division 1 and is always working tirelessly behind the scenes to play a positive role for the department.
Today, Hove’s responsibilities in the office include overseeing the athletics communications office– also known as sports information– while handling responsibilities primarily with SDSU’s football, wrestling, swimming and diving, baseball and equestrian teams.
The 25 year recognitions will be handed out this summer.
