This is probably an effect of superhero fatigue: Marvel is going to release fewer movies and TV shows in the coming years. Disney CEO Bob Iger says this is part of Marvel’s strategy to focus on QUALITY over QUANTITY.
Quote, “We’re slowly going to decrease volume and go to probably about two TV series a year instead of what had become four, and reduce our film output from maybe four a year to two or at the maximum three.”
Bob says there’s a couple good movies for 2025, and then there will be more “Avengers”.
“Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” is expected to come out in 2026 . . . unless they retool everything due to the Jonathan Majors controversy.
