MAY 9, 2024:
WATERTOWN, S.D. – Former North Dakota State football standout Spencer Waege was on the move Thursday (May 9, 2024), when he found out the news that he’s been signed to a new team. Waege, a South Shore, South Dakota, native and Watertown High School graduate, was informed Thursday by the San Francisco 49ers hat he had been cut from the 49ers roster. Waage wasn’t unemployed long though, as the Green Bay Packers signed the former FCS first team All American. Waege joins a roster that includes Timber Lake, South Dakota, native Tucker Kraft. The two played against each other when Kraft was with South Dakota State and Waege with North Dakota State.
