The Minnesota Vikings and star wide receiver Justin Jefferson have agreed to terms on a record-breaking contract extension. As reported by ESPN’s Ian Rapoport, Jefferson has agreed to a 4-year, $140 million extension, $110 million of which will be fully guaranteed. This will now make Jefferson not only the highest paid receiver, but the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.
Jefferson, a three-time pro-bowler, turned down an extension last year reportedly worth $28 million a year. A bet he made on himself that ultimately paid off, literally.
