FREMONT, Neb. – Rain stayed away Monday afternoon and the weather allowed the Fremont Moo and Oahe Zap to play a doubleheader, wrapping up a weekend wrap-around series at Historic Moller Field. After dropping the first game of the three-game series, Saturday night, Fremont won both games in the ILB matchup, 9-2 and 7-0 on Monday.

Oahe’s Jacob Trusner was 1-for-2 with an rbi at the plate. In game two, Fremont got the bats going in the middle innings, which sparked a 7-0 victory. Oahe’s Aidan Johnson (0-1) took the loss. He pitched 3.0 innings, giving up five hits, one run and walked one.
Oahe left Fremont dropping two of the three games in the series and the Zap will host the Nebraska Prospects on Wednesday.
