ST. PAUL, Minn. – On Wednesday, B/R Open Ice reported on X that the Minnesota Wild could bring a significant change to their jerseys next season. Per the report, the team will switch from its current forest green-and-red-color scheme. It will instead adopt the green, gold and white colors of the defunct Minnesota North Stars franchise. The North Stars were Minnesota’s original NHL team. They played in the state from 1967 until their relocation to Dallas in 1993. The Wild, who joined the league in 2000, have occasionally paid homage to the North Stars with alternate jerseys featuring the classic colors. However, this marks the first time the team will fully adopt the North Stars’ color scheme as their primary look.
