BROOKINGS, S.D. – The best baseball player in the Summit League is leaving South Dakota State to play for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Cael Frost had a monster season for the Jackrabbits and was named All Central Region 2nd team as a result. The league’s Newcomer of the Year and Player of the Year had 21 Home Runs, 59 RBI’s, a .343 batting average and .742 slugging percentage. He led the team in almost every offensive category after transferring to SDSU from Kirkwood Community College.
